This grant has played a pivotal role in helping fill critical teaching positions while investing in the growth and development of District 47 staff

District 47 is proud to celebrate three outstanding educators who have been recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) through its Those Who Excel & Teacher of the Year program. Nominated by educators, administrators, and community members, these awards honor educators for their dedication, collaboration, and commitment to student success.

This year marks a significant milestone for District 47’s Dual Language program—20 years of bilingual excellence! To commemorate this special anniversary, we want to hear from those who have been part of this journey.
